Justin Bieber has set a new record by becoming the highest-paid headliner at Coachella. For those unversed, he will be one of the headliners for Coachella next year alongside Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G. Notably, Bieber beat Beyoncé to become Coachella’s highest-paid headliner, and he did it without an agent.

Justin Bieber becomes highest-paid Coachella headliner

The “Peaches” crooner just made Coachella history.

According to a report published by Rolling Stone, Justin Bieber has bagged $10 million to headline next year’s edition of the Coachella music festival. Reportedly, he negotiated his fees directly with the promoter, Goldenvoice, without the involvement of an agent.

A source close to the pop star shared with the outlet, “It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own.” Furthermore, they noted that Bieber is now in a league of his own with the twin successes of SWAG and SWAG II and the Coachella headliner deal. The source used the words “the start of an exciting new era” and described him as being “fully in the driver’s seat.”

The breakdown of the Coachella fees is $5 million per weekend for the two weekends Justin Bieber will be performing. The “Baby” singer was on a long hiatus due to health issues and is re-establishing his career post his long break.

The same source further shared that Bieber’s performance at Coachella will be memorable. They stated, “His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon.”

With this, Justin Bieber has become the highest-paid artist to headline Coachella, surpassing Beyoncé’s previous fee, which was reportedly between $8 million-$12 million. (via Billboard) Previously, he has participated in Coachella as a collaborator, and 2026 will be the first time he participates as one of three headliners.

The much-awaited music festival will take place from April 10-12 and April 17-19 in California.
