The 30-year-old pop star couldn’t hide his pride as he described Jack’s outgoing and lovable nature. Justin shared with a smile, “I just, I always wanted a kid who wasn’t, like, super shy and didn’t want to go to people and stuff.” “But he’s, like, super personable and open.”
More than a year after welcoming her son Jack Blues with Justin Bieber, Hailey is embracing a slower, family-focused lifestyle. The Rhode founder told GQ on November 11 that her days now revolve around motherhood. She said, “A typical day at home for me is I get up with my son, hit a workout as much as I can.” “I’ve become a lot more of a homebody than I used to be. And I think when you have a child, that happens, at least it did for me.”
The 28-year-old admitted that motherhood and getting older have shifted her social priorities. “It definitely made me have so much less FOMO,” she explained. “I also think getting older does that, too. I have a lot of friends who don’t even have kids that feel the same way. I just don’t feel like I’m really missing out on much anymore.”
Before becoming a mother, Hailey admits she never could have imagined how profoundly her son would change her life. “There’s nothing someone can tell you about it that will ever, ever, ever prepare you until you do it yourself,” she told the magazine. “But I feel much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time.”
The Bieber couple, however, has learned to handle the spotlight, particularly when it comes to protecting their son. “We both feel very protective of our son, and I don’t think that’s ever going to change,” Hailey said. “Our life is our life, and it is really public, so I think we’re just going to cross every bridge that we need to when we get there.”
