When the full video drops on Friday, May 8, 2026, fans will see Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in Madison Beer’s latest music video, which has shocked fans.

Beer posted a teaser of the music video for “Lovergirl,” and it features her kissing Herbert, who blocks the camera’s view of the smooch, while under a boardwalk on the beach.

She can seemingly be heard chuckling at the end of the video, showing how giddy she is around him. Still, this didn’t stop fans from having fun with the video.

Brett Kollmann responded to the video on X, formerly Twitter, pointing out Herbert’s willingness to be on-camera with Beer, writing, “Justin Herbert willingly being near a camera? He LOVE loves her.”

Another X user joked, “Would’ve placed the chances of seeing Justin Herbert in a music video at some point in his career at like -1,000,000% two years ago.”

Are Justin Herbert and Madison Beer dating?

Herbert and Beer are dating. They were first spotted together in August 2025, after Herbert visited Beer on the set of one of her music videos.

However, they wouldn’t launch their relationship until months later. They made it official in April 2026, around eight months after they were first seen together.

Beer just released her third studio album, Locket, on Jan. 16, 2026. Her tour in support of the album, the Locket Tour, commences on May 11, 2026, in Poland. She will perform a North American leg to close out the tour from June 8 to July 13. This leg concludes with a headlining show at Madison Square Garden.

“Lovergirl” is one of the four bonus tracks from Locket featured on the deluxe edition, which will be released on May 8. It is also the fourth single released from the album. Locket was preceded by three singles dating back to Feb. 9, 2024.

“Make You Mine,” “Yes Baby,” and “Bittersweet” were released from Feb. 9, 2024, to Oct. 10, 2025, before the album’s release. “Bad Enough” was released as a single on the same day as the full Locket album.
