Country singer Kane Brown has announced the opening date for his multi-story Nashville bar, restaurant and live music venue.
Kane Brown’s on Broadway, which is located in Nashville’s Lower Broadway district at 312 Broadway, will open its doors on Friday, May 22 at 10 a.m. CT.
The venue will ring in the new chapter with appearances from Brown himself throughout the weekend. Thanks to a partnership with the charity Folds of Honor, proceeds from the weekend will also help provide scholarships to the children and spouses of disabled military service members.
“Opening Kane Brown’s on Broadway is about creating somewhere everyone can come together, celebrate and just have a great night out in Nashville,” Brown said in a press release.
“I wanted it to reflect my journey in Nashville and feel a little different from what you usually find on Broadway,” he continued. “It’s the kind of place where you might run into familiar faces and make memories along the way, whether it’s your first time in town or your hundredth night out.”
The “Miles On It” and “One Thing Right” singer’s bar will include four levels, a full-scale live-music stage, a third floor lounge and a rooftop with views.
Brown rose to fame in the country music world around 2014, gaining momentum on social media when his cover of Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” went viral.
He had previously enrolled in the army, but was not deployed because he allegedly had too many tattoos. Instead, Brown went to work at FedEx, where his boss encouraged him to pursue music. In 2016, Brown signed with RCA Nashville and made his self-titled debut album.
Brown has since become the first artist ever to lead all five of Billboard’s main country charts simultaneously, an ACM Award-winner and a member of the Time 100 list.
He’s also stepped into film and TV, appearing on “9-1-1: Nashville” last year.
Brown released his latest song, “Woman,” in March.
With his new Broadway bar, Brown joins the ranks of other country stars who’ve opened their own watering holes in recent years, including Post Malone, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.
