Kansas City public meeting to address Royals ballpark funding and public concerns

A Kansas City rezoning meeting, required to secure public funding, will address the city’s promise of up to $600 million for a new Royals ballpark project. A public hearing on the Crown Center rezoning plan is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, July 27, at the Regnier Theatre inside Union Station. A traffic study will be unveiled, explaining how parking, the streetcar, and buses will work together to transport people to and from the ballpark area.
