Controversial rapper Kanye West allegedly met with renowned Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto to apologize for his vile antisemitic comments and seek forgiveness from the religious leader
Kanye “Ye” West reportedly met with celebrity Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto in New York for a meeting in which he begged the spiritual leader for forgiveness after his offensive antisemitic remarks.
During the private conversation on Tuesday, Nov. 4, the 48-year-old artist allegedly expressed remorse for his offensive past statements about Jewish people. In the discussion circulating on social media, many have casted doubts on the authenticity of the video posted on Instagram, as some thought there was a possibility that it was made with artificial intelligence.
Over the years, Kanye has made a number of antisemitic comments, openly praised Adolf Hilter, and even sold his own swastika-themed merchandise, all of which has taken a major toll on his career and business empire. During the conversation, the Vultures hitmaker was seen apologizing for his vile words and blamed this behavior in part due to his ongoing struggle with Bipolar disorder.

In the video, Kanye said, “I feel really blessed to be able to sit here with you today and just take accountability.”
He went on to explain, “I was dealing with some various issues, bipolar, also, so it would take the ideas I had and had them, take them to an extreme where I would forget about the protection of the people around me and myself. Some people aren’t that knowledgeable about what causes it and the way you act when you have the disease.”
Kanye went on to add, “It’s like if you left the house and left your kid at the house and your kid went and messed up the kitchen and messed up the garage, mess up the living room. When you get back, it’s your responsibility, because that’s your child.”
In response, Rabbi Pinto praised Kanye’s will to move closer to truth. He said, “A person is not defined by his mistakes, but by the way he chooses to correct them. This is the true strength of man: The ability to return, to learn, and to build bridges of love and peace.”
The religious leader continued, “Judaism brought to the world a way for someone, when he regrets something that you have done wrong The Jews believe you can regret and fix it. From now on strong things, good things.”
While the footage of the video looked life-like, many Instagram users felt there was a chance that it was actually AI. One person commented, “AI is so crazy.”
Another asked, “That ain’t no f—— Kanye [laughing face emojis] this some AI definitely.” While a third wrote, “I don’t think it’s ye.”
Someone else observed, “I have never heard Kanye speak so softly in my life.” Another added, “That’s not his voice, unfortunately :-(.” A third person agreed, “This sounds nothing like Kanye who the f–k is this.”
