THE Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly want Andrew out of the Royal Lodge in a matter of days – before they “move in next door”.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to want to move into Forest Lodge, also in Windsor Great Park, before Bonfire Night.
The pair want Andrew gone from his 30-room mansion by the time they move to their eight-bedroom home, which is just over a mile from Royal Lodge.
An unnamed source told the Daily Mail: “Catherine shudders at the thought of living so close to Royal Lodge while Prince Andrew is still in it.
“William wants him gone before they start to move in next week.
“It’s not about what Andrew doesn’t want to do anymore. It’s about what he’s going to be told to do.”

In August 2022, Wills and Kate moved out of their apartment in Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage, which lies some three miles from Forest Lodge.
It’s believed that the Waleses had previously wanted to move to Royal Lodge but Andrew insisted he stayed put.
A source told the paper last night: “Them going into Adelaide Cottage was never the plan.
“But they were forced to because Prince Andrew wouldn’t shift.”
Earlier this year though, the royals then turned their attention to Forest Lodge, a Georgian mansion where they hope to raise their three children in a relaxed atmosphere.
Royal Lodge and Forest Lodge are a short walk from each other, situated in Windsor Great Park.
Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who also lives in Royal Lodge, have faced mounting revelations about their links to Epstein which is thought to have led to Buckingham Palace believing they need to move out.
It comes as sources have confirmed that the pariah prince is now in “advanced talks” with representatives of King Charles about finally leaving the 30-room mansion in Windsor.
Andrew remains living in Royal Lodge despite relinquishing his Duke of York title in disgrace last week.
But the Prince cannot legally be evicted from the property due to a “cast iron” lease.
The prince has 50 years left on his pre-paid lease, and will legally have to be compensated if he is forced to move out.
Following Andrew’s growing involvement in the Jeffery Epstein sex scandal, there have been daily discussions about him leaving the rent-free house.
It comes after revelations that Andrew has not paid rent for decades fuelled calls to kick him out of Royal Lodge over links to paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
He is likely to have avoided thousands in water bills since moving in back in 2003, while Brits struggle to pay theirs.
Andrew signed a 75-year agreement for Royal Lodge that same year.
A copy of the leasehold shows while Andrew did cough up £1million for the lease – as well as £7.5million for refurbishments – he hasn’t paid any annual rent since 2003.
The lease revealed that Andrew has since paid only “one peppercorn” in rent per year, “if demanded”.
The small amount of rent helps explain how Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have been able to live there without using royal funds.
It was previously thought that Andrew paid a “notional rent” of £260,000 per year in addition to the refurbishments.
The lease confirms that this rent only applied if the work was not completed, which was done in 2005.
Spread over 75 years, the £8.5 million initial outlay averages £113,000 a year, less than half the estimated market rent.
The growing scandal comes on the week his sex accuser Virginia Giuffre – whose claims he has always denied – published her posthumous memoir.
And last week, as the Epstein scandal hit the headlines again, Andrew cancelled a party at Royal Lodge to mark Fergie’s 66th birthday.
