The couple was spotted enjoying a cozy picnic in Santa Barbara on Saturday, June 13. After picking up lunch, the pair spread out a gingham blanket and enjoyed their meal in the Californian sunshine.
Perry, 41, and Trudeau, 54, also couldn’t resist indulging in a little PDA as they smooched and cuddled in the afternoon sun.
The pop star and former Canadian prime minister were casually dressed for their outing with Trudeau in a khaki T-shirt and shorts, while the “Roar” singer sported loose white pants and a matching T-shirt with a straw bucket hat.

Perry and Trudeau’s romance has been heating up, as they recently made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of her concert film Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris.
At the event, Perry opened up to PEOPLE about how the tour shaped her — and helped her lean into love.
“I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life,” she said. “I am very in love. And actually, that show was after I met the love of my life and so I felt very anchored by that because I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite.”
She continued: “I fly super high and touch the veil … cosmos … and sometimes I need to be anchored. So, to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now.”
She also expressed how this documentary differed from her 2012 offering, Part of Me.

“That was more of a documentary about my life, and this is really a concert experience at the highest level for the fans,” she explained, adding that she was “”doing all of this for my fans because they are the ones that have helped me along for all these years, over 18 years, and it’s just such a fun thing to encapsulate.”

Perry and Trudeau first sparked romance rumors in July 2025 when they were seen on a dog walk in Montreal, and later spotted grabbing dinner at the neighborhood restaurant Le Violon.
Following the dinner date — which came one month after PEOPLE confirmed Perry and actor Orlando Bloom, 49, ended their engagement after nine years together — Trudeau was seen at Perry’s concert in Montreal on July 30, 2025.

Prior to this year’s Tribeca Festival, Perry and Trudeau appeared together at the Beef season 2 Montecito Tastemaker event in April, where they posed for photographs with Netflix boss Ted Sarandos, 61, and his wife, Nicole Avant, 58. Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Charles Melton and Carey Mulligan also attended the star-studded gathering.
