On Friday, October 31, the 34-year-old model dropped an Instagram Reel dressed as Toni Braxton from the “He Wasn’t Man Enough” music video. “She’s an icon. She’s a legend. She’s @tonibraxton circa 2000. #Halloween25,” Nicole captioned the post.
While the look was flawless, the song choice sent the internet into overdrive. Braxton’s track is a breakup anthem about a woman warning another that her man “wasn’t man enough,” and with Nicole’s ex Travis Kelce newly engaged to Taylor Swift, fans couldn’t help connecting dots. Within hours, the comment section filled with speculation that the fit choice was a subtle jab at her former NFL boyfriend.
“I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone more obsessed with their ex. So sad,” one critic wrote. Another shot back, “She hasn’t moved on.” Someone else piled on, “Salty af 🤣 But makes for good content, right? Smart! Ride those coattails, honey!! 🤑”
