Keith Urban’s 25-Year-Old Guitarist Absent At Penn Show Following His Shock Split From Nicole Kidman

Keith Urban took the stage in Penn without his longtime guitarist, Maggie Baugh, amid controversy surrounding his split from Nicole Kidman.

Baugh has been accused of being the other woman, a claim further fueled by a resurfaced tour video in which Urban could be seen changing one of his songs’ lyrics to reference her.

Days ago, Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban, ending their nearly two-decade marriage, which produced two children: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

Just days after Keith Urban’s guitarist, Maggie Baugh, was linked to rumors of being the other woman in his split from Nicole Kidman, she was noticeably absent from the country star’s Pennsylvania show, despite having been a visible presence throughout his current tour.

The performance at the Giant Center in Hershey also had a few more surprises that further fueled speculation surrounding the high-profile breakup, according to Ok! Magazine.

Most strikingly, Urban took the stage without his wedding band, though it’s unclear when he officially stopped wearing the piece of jewelry.

He also tweaked the lyrics of his hit “You’ll Think of Me,” inserting the expletive “bullsh-t” right before the word “reasons” in the line, “take your space and take your reasons.”

Yet, in the midst of the pointed gestures, Urban appeared to soften the moment by showing appreciation for Kidman, the mother of his children.

During his performance of “Heart Like a Hometown,” a slideshow appeared onscreen featuring images of Kidman, 58, along with their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

Speculation that Baugh was the “other woman” intensified after a resurfaced video showed Urban altering the lyrics of one of his songs.

The track in question, The Fighter, was originally dedicated to Kidman, but during a performance earlier this year, the singer appeared to shift the focus toward Baugh.

The original line had the words “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter,” but Urban switched it to, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.”

The clip was posted by Baugh on Saturday, September 27, with the caption “Did he just say that?” that seemed to hint at something more about their relationship.

The post quickly sparked backlash for Urban in the comments section, with many netizens criticizing the singer for altering a song that had originally been inspired by his wife.

Beyond the speculation about Urban stepping out during the marriage, insiders have also suggested other factors that may have contributed to the split.

A source told People Magazine that Kidman had initially stepped back from her career to raise their children, but as they grew older, she began taking on more projects, including roles in “Babygirl,” “Holland,” and “A Family Affair.”

While their kids enjoyed watching their mother return to work, Urban reportedly did not share the same excitement.

“[Nicole] truly thrived working again,” a source revealed about the actress. “She’s been feeling amazing and very happy about having a career again.

They added, “Keith was used to her being supportive of his career. He’s not been as supportive as she hoped.”

For now, it appears that the duo is moving forward with their divorce, which Kidman filed earlier in the week, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

While they have remained publicly silent about the separation, they appear intent on maintaining amicable relations for the sake of their children.

According to Us Weekly, Kidman submitted a marital dissolution agreement as part of her filing, with the document signed by both her and Urban.

The divorce agreement between Kidman and Urban included a parenting plan, a child support plan, and a “parenting seminar order,” which detailed how they intend to co-parent moving forward.

One reported arrangement states that their children will spend 306 days of the year with Kidman and 59 days with Urban.

Additionally, Kidman will hold “final decision-making authority” regarding the children if she and Urban are unable to agree on any major issues. She also asked to be designated as the children’s “primary residential parent.”
