Late last night in California, the stars descended upon Bel Air for “Second Chapter,” the second part of Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski’s Fall/Winter 2026 womenswear collection for Hermès. From the front row, everyone from Miley Cyrus to Kerry Washington and Keke Palmer took it all in, with the latter bringing a whole lot of va-va-voom with her red-hot leather look.
In the past few weeks, while promoting her new absurdist comedy film I Love Boosters, Palmer has worn everything from a tie-dye Blumarine dress with Swarovski crystals to a vintage double-denim set from Dior. However, she turned up the heat with this latest fit, which brought to mind Britney Spears’s iconic “Oops!…I Did It Again” catsuit, if it had been sliced up and converted into separates, that is.
The vermillion look was courtesy of the host fashion house and pulled from its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Up top, it began with a laced bra with a square neckline and thick shoulder straps. The cropped piece tied up in front with knotted lacing, which continued criss-crossing around Palmer’s waist, neck, and back.
She wore a pair of straight-fit slacks and pointy pumps to match, while carrying a large black leather handbag for a bit of contrast. Finally, the Nope star accessorized with some statement jewelry, including silver bangles, an arm cuff, a choker, lariat necklace, and two large teardrop-shaped earrings. As for her beauty, her braids were pulled into a top knot and half updo, while her nails were painted with a French manicure.
If this marks a new shift in Palmer’s style, I hope we get to see plenty more of it in the future.
