Kelley Wolf reportedly did not appear in court amid her divorce from Scott Wolf.
People confirmed on Tuesday, September 30, that Kelley, 48, was scheduled to be in court related to misdemeanor charges she’s facing, but the judge shared that she was “unable to attend.”
Prosecutor Wendy Crossland claimed she “believes” Kelley is at a treatment center for her mental health. “I have not otherwise had any other contact with Miss Wolf,” Crossland said.
The judge shared that the court would “reset these matters with notice” to Kelley. People reported that the next divorce hearing would be held on October 23, with Kelley also receiving a summons to appear in court on November 7 relating to her latest arrest.
Kelley announced in June that she and Scott, with whom she shares three children, were separating after 21 years of marriage. (The pair welcomed sons Jackson and Miller and daughter Lucy in 2009, 2012 and 2014, respectively.)
“It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,” Kelley wrote via Instagram at the time. “This has been a long, quiet journey for me — rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children.”
One day later, Scott broke his silence on the split and shared that he filed for divorce.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” he told People at the time. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”

In September, news broke that Scott accused her of violating a protective order issued by the court the previous month. Kelley allegedly used a “friend’s phone” to contact one of her sons “through a friend’s son,” per documents obtained by Us Weekly.
“I am utterly shocked [for] the unabating aggressive use of a legal system and possibly more,” she said in a statement to People at the time. “[It] has become almost intolerable to my physical body, my family’s health and well-being period. I’m unclear as to how these things are allowed to be processed. I have [allegedly] been compliant with everything legal, I have said nothing disparaging about anyone at any time. I’d like to also state for anyone who doesn’t seem to understand — that divorce can take time. Anyone who continues to put pressure on a mother when all she’s doing is fighting for her children is somebody who needs to check themselves.”
Kelley has since been candid about her mental health, clarifying what she considered to be “misinformation” earlier this month.
“I’ve only seen a psychiatrist three times in my entire life—each time connected to being involuntarily taken to a hospital during this brutal and unexpected process I have endured,” she wrote via Instagram. “Being placed in psychiatric hospitals against my will does not mean I am ‘mentally ill’ or ‘on drugs.’ What it does mean is that I’ve been fighting for my rights through a painful summer and year.”
Kelley shared that she would pursue any “attacks on myself or my family” in a way that allows her to “move on from a very dark and confusing chapter.”
“I wish all of you nothing but love and hope and compassion,” she concluded. “The reason many of us devote our lives to taking care of others [is] because we’ve been through hell ourselves. There’s no reason to continue hurting one another when we have so much beautiful life to live. I encourage you to keep fighting for what you believe in and remember that you deserve only great things in life. We have this one beautiful and precious life. Make sure you use it well.”
