Stand-up comedian and “Latin XL” Ken Flores died at the age of 28 due to cocaine use.
Flores’ autopsy report, which was obtained and reviewed by TMZ, said that the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed that his cause of death was cocaine toxicity and was ruled as accidental.
According to documentation, Flores’ history of congestive heart failure was another significant condition that played a part in his death.
The comedian was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Jan. 28. Sources told the media outlet he had been suffering from congestive heart failure for quite some time, as he was in and out of hospitals over the past two years due to his condition.
He had also been using oxygen tanks to assist with breathing, which were found in the home.
The medical examiner also added that cocaine was the only substance found in his body at the time of death. He had tested negative for other substances, including alcohol, fentanyl, opioids, meth, and other substances.
Per TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources, first responders arrived at Flores’ residence and administered CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
