Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is raising eyebrows amid a contentious midterm election — and not for his political platform.
Paxton, 63, was spotted traveling from Washington, D.C., to Iceland on Saturday, June 27, with a woman multiple outlets are reporting as his alleged mistress, Tracy Duhon, including the Daily Mail and The Daily Best.
The pair were spotted together at Dulles International Airport, boarding a flight to Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital. They were seated in economy during the flight, per the Daily Mail.
Us Weekly has reached out to Paxton’s office and Duhon for comment.
While Ken is still legally married to State Senator Angela Paxton, the pair — who share four adult children and five grandchildren — are currently going through a very public divorce following her husband’s alleged infidelity.
“Today, after 38 years of marriage, I filed for divorce on biblical grounds. I believe marriage is a sacred covenant and I have earnestly pursued reconciliation. But in light of recent discoveries, I do not believe that it honors God or is loving to myself, my children, or Ken to remain in the marriage,” Angela, 63, wrote via X in July 2025. “I move forward with complete confidence that God is always working everything together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose.”
Angela, a Republican representing the McKinney, Texas, area, filed a petition for divorce in Collin County and accused her husband of adultery. She also claimed in the divorce papers, per KUT, that the couple ceased living together in June 2024.
“After facing the pressures of countless political attacks and public scrutiny, Angela and I have decided to start a new chapter in our lives,” Ken wrote via X in July 2025. “I could not be any more proud or grateful for the incredible family that God has blessed us with, and I remain committed to supporting our amazing children and grandchildren. I ask for your prayers and privacy at this time.”
Duhon has never confirmed a romantic relationship with Ken or publicly responded to reports of an alleged romance during his marriage.
Ken’s trip comes as he is currently in a tight election race with fellow candidate James Talarico. According to a new New York Times/Siena poll, the pair are tied at 47 points apiece among likely voters. Six percent of voters indicated they hadn’t yet made up their minds over who to support.
While Ken and Talarico, 37 — a Democrat — have yet to comment on the Daily Mail’s latest report, Texas Democratic Party spokesperson Ryan Martin criticized Ken for traveling to Iceland days before the Fourth of July holiday.
“Once again, corrupt Ken Paxton is putting himself first and America last,” Martin said in his statement to the San Antonio Current. “Paxton shouldn’t worry too much though — he’ll have all the time in the world for luxury getaways with his mistress after he loses in November.”
