It looks like the blondes of Love Island USA season 8 might not be rocking with each other beyond the Villa. At least, that’s what it seems like from Kenzie Annis’ latest comments from her Instagram livestream with Jaiden Bacciocco on July 24.
Kenzie and Jaiden—who were each coupled up with Caleb McDaniel at one point during the season—have kept a close bond after the show. As the newly minted roommates were getting ready for a night out, they hopped on to chat with fans on Instagram Live…and Caleb entered the chat.
Their energy awkwardly shifted when he joined to watch the livestream as Kenzie asked, “Caleb? Caleb who?” She later checked to see if he was still viewing and asked him another question: “Caleb, how’s Japan treating you?”
Fans think this might have been a dig at Caleb and their fellow season 8 Islander, Jen Terry, after she claimed she wouldn’t be friends with Kenzie outside the Villa. ICYMI, he’s been hanging out with his bestie Jen on a brand trip to Tokyo with PacSun, where they were also joined by Rob Rausch from season 6.

Elsewhere in the Live, Kenzie added that Caleb “fumbled” Jaiden after they broke things off. Though it might have been a playful jab, fans weren’t exactly thrilled by her attitude toward Caleb.
“They both were terrible to him and have the audacity to be mean afterwards ???” one fan wrote on TikTok, while others criticized their “weird” behavior, noting, “He is there on a brand trip with Jen and Rob. My guess could be Kenzie and Jaiden are jealous because they wished they were on the brand trip.”
It’s important to note that it likely isn’t the latter, since Kenzie and Jaiden were just on another brand trip in the Hamptons with Dylan Wrona, Gal Tschnieder, and season 7’s Hannah Fields (as well as Hannah’s non-Islander boyfriend, Sebastian Salcido).
