Khalifa Kush Tops Celebrity Cannabis Brands Sales List for Second Year in a Row

The Top 20 list below, compiled by Hoodie Analytics, is for celebrity cannabis brands in 2025. The chart includes general sales figures and the states the brands are located in. 

Here are the Top 20 Celebrity Cannabis Brands of 2025:

 

1. Khalifa Kush

Famously associated with renowned rapper Wiz Khalifa, the brand was founded in 2015 in California. KK is affiliated with Trulieve in Florida.

2024 Rank: 1

2025 Sales: $55-$65 million (up from $40-$50)

States: CA, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NV, OH, OR, WA

 

2. Cheech & Chong’s Cannabis Co.

Stoner comedy icons Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong founded the brand in 2020. It includes Cheech’s Stash and Tommy Chong’s Cannabis. They also have six retail stores in three states (MA, ME, NM) under the name Cheech & Chong’s Dispensoria.

2024 Rank: 2

2025 Sales: $30-40 million (up from $17-$21)

States: AZ, IL, MA, ME, MI, NM, NV, NY

 

3. Garcia Hand Picked

Conceived to honor the spirit of Grateful Dead co-founder Jerry Garcia and launched in California in 2020 in partnership with Holistic Industries.

2024 Rank: 3

2025 Sales: $25-$35 million (up from $28-$32)

States: MA, MD, MI, OR, PA 

 

4. Caviar Gold

Known for moonrocks and infused prerolls and celebrity tie-ins with rapper Ice Cube and Jay and Silent Bob.

2024 Rank: 5

2025 Sales: $20-$30 million (up from $15-18)

States: AZ, CA, MI, NM, NV; also Canada

 

5. 93 Boyz

Chicago’s pioneering Black-owned cannabis brand was founded by rapper Vic Mensa in 2022.

2024 Rank: 9

Sales: $14-$19 million (up from $9-$14 million) 

State: IL

 

6. Tyson 2.0

Named for former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson, the brand was founded in 2021 in partnership with CarmaHold Co.

2024 Rank: 5

2025 Sales: $12-$18 million (down from $19-$23 million)

States: AZ, CA, IL, MD, MI, MO, NV, NY, OH, WA 

 

7. Belushi’s Farm

Founded in Southern Oregon in 2015 by comic actor Jim Beluhsi (John’s younger brother), it’s known best for the Blues Brothers brand.

2024 Rank: 7

2025 Sales: $11-$17 million (up from $13-$15 million)

States: AZ, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, RI, SD, WA

 

8. TICAL

Founded in 2020 as a socially-conscious celebrity brand by Wu-Tang Clan’s Method Man in 2020.

2024 Rank: 10

2025 Sales: $10-$15 million (up from $8-$10 million)

States: AR, CO, FL, IL. MA, MI, MO, NV, NM. NY, OR, RI; also Canada

 

9. Dr. Greenthumb’s

Founded by Cypress Hill’s B-Real, they have a number of Greenthumb’s stores (seven in CA, one in MI). Dr. Greenthumb’s products are sold in Arizona. 

2024 Rank: 14

2025 Sales: $10-$15 million (up from $5-$6 million)

States: AZ, CA, MI

 

10. Willie’s Reserve

Founded by the legendary musician and advocate Willie Nelson in Colorado in 2015.

2024 Rank: 6

2024 Sales: $9-$12 million (down from $13-$17 million)

States: AZ, MA, MO, MS, OH, RI, SD, WA

 

11. Dr. Norm’s

Founded in 2017 by Norm Koz’s siblings Jeff Koz and Roberta Wilson in Los Angeles, it’s a premier cannabis edibles brand. Jeff Koz’s brother is saxophonist Dave Koz.

2024 Rank: 11

2025 Sales: $6-$10 million (up from $6-$8 million)

State: CA

 

12. 22Red

Founded by System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian in 2018.

2024 Rank: 8

2025 Sales: $4-$5 million (down from $10-$13 million)

States: AZ

 

13. CANN Social Tonics

Founded by Jake Bullock and Luke Anderson in 2018, the Calfornia brand has a number of celebrity supporters including Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosario Dawson.

2024 Rank: 13

2025 Sales: $4-$6 million (down from $6-$8 and not hemp=derived)

States: AZ, BC, CA, IL, MA, NV, NY, ON, SK

 

14. B NOBLE

Cannabis prisoner Bernard Noble and Fab 5 Freddy met while he was directing the documentary Grass Is Greener for Netflix. They founded B NOBLE, whose products (prerolls and flower) are grown and distributed by Curaleaf.

2025 Sales: $3-$5 million (down from $5-6 million)

States: AZ, CT, FL, IL. ME. MD. MA, NV, NJ, NY, ND, OH. PA, UT

 

15. EVIDENCE

Based in Coalinga, CA, the company, founded by Dan, Casey and Kelly Dalton as well as Damian Marley, repurposed a prison into a cultivation facility.

Sales: $3-$5 million (down from $5-$6 million)

State: CA

 

16. Viola

Founded by former NBA star Al Harrington and Dan Pettigrew in Colorado in 2011, Viola has branched out to other states. Their first dispensary, Village, opened in NJ in 2024.

17. Happy Eddie

This Maryland brand was founded by The Real Housewives of Potomac cast members Eddie and Wendy Osefo, who were charged with insuarance fraud in October.

2025 Sales: $2-$4 million (no change)

State: MD, MO, NJ

 

18. Highsman

Founded by NFL star Ricky Williams, whose NFL career was upended by numerous THC-related suspensions and a self-imposed hiatus.

2024 Rank: 18

States: AZ, CA, IL MI, NV, NM, OH, WA

 

19. Primitiv

Co-founded by former Detroit Lions, Calvin Johnson and Rob Sims, in Michigan in 2012. Johnson is member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They started with a store in Niles, MI and expanded to Boston.

2024 Sales: $2-$4 million (down from $4-$5 million)

20. Death Row Cannabis

Snoop Dogg’s latest cannabis brand is named for the label he originally recorded for. Snoop opened retail stores in CA and the Netherlands in 2024.
