MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Alabama State University’s Khalil Stewart has been selected to join the inaugural cohort of the Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PSE) Career Accelerator Program (CAP) — a distinguished initiative designed to provide emerging professionals with hands-on experience and mentorship within the professional sports industry.
The Career Accelerator Program offers participants an in-depth look into the business of sports through curated sessions, networking opportunities, and professional development experiences led by executives and leaders across the Pacers organization.
Stewart’s selection follows a competitive application and interview process, recognizing his commitment to excellence and passion for advancing in the sports and entertainment field.
“I am truly honored to be selected for the Career Accelerator Program,” Stewart said. “This is an incredible opportunity to learn from industry leaders, expand my skill set, and continue growing as a professional in sports.”
As part of the program, Stewart will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, where the first session begins November 18 and concludes November 21. Participants from across the country will engage in immersive workshops and collaborative learning experiences throughout the week.
Pacers Sports & Entertainment will provide lodging accommodations for out-of-state participants as part of its commitment to fostering the next generation of sports professionals.
