On the latest episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, Khloé Kardashian shared why she hasn’t been to Coachella in over a decade after a frightening incident.
At one point in the episode, which can be watched in full here, she responded to fan questions, including one that asked if she’s ever been to the popular California music festival. She said that she’s “gone once,” but it was “many moons ago.” She said she attended around 2016, but she didn’t have a particularly great experience.
“I feel like 2016 or something like that… It wasn’t the best experience,” she admitted. “I got drugged without me knowing, but I think everyone knew. There was this juice at this party we were at. I don’t think anyone drugged me. I just think I was the dumb one and didn’t realize everyone was on drugs.”
She recalled that the drink left her feeling “really crazy,” and she had to get away to have a moment to herself. “I remember locking myself in a bathroom for hours,” she continued. “And I just didn’t realize what was happening until after it happened, that I was on drugs and everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn’t get out of the bathroom. But I got scared. I was in my head. I was so scared. So my experience was not good.”
While she hasn’t returned to the festival since the incident, her sisters have been spotted in attendance as recently as this year. Kendall and Kylie Jenner, for instance, were spotted in the crowd for Justin Bieber’s headlining performance during one of the weekends at this year’s festival.
During the same episode, Khloé also spoke about her 2007 DUI arrest and revealed that her friend Malika Haqq did, in fact, help style her hair for her mugshot. “She did a good job,” she added.
