Khloé Kardashian encountered criticism from fans after promoting a conspiracy theory regarding the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie that law enforcement has already debunked.
The Kardashians star addressed the subject of Nancy’s kidnapping on a recent podcast episode while speaking with Ashley Flowers of Crime Junkie. Khloé, 41, acknowledged that she suspects authorities may be withholding information from the public, and expressed confusion over how Nancy could disappear without a trace in 2026.
Khloé told her listeners that the case remains a complete mystery to her – though she believes that Nancy is still alive. She confessed that she also feels there are still “too many unanswered questions” surrounding the investigation and what happened to Nancy.
Khloé said, “It’s 2026, what do you mean we can’t find her?”
She then embraced an already refuted conspiracy theory and implied that Nancy’s son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni had been “suspicious,” a speculative theory that has been circulated by online sleuths numerous times since Nancy vanished.
However, Tommaso and all members of the Guthrie family have been eliminated as suspects by the police and FBI following thorough investigations.
Fans listening to Khloé discuss the topic of Nancy being abducted were outraged and flocked to social media to condemn her for the line of conversation.

Nancy, 84, the mother of Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie, has been missing since the early morning hours of February 1, when authorities believe she was abducted from her residence in Tucson, Arizona. Despite exhaustive efforts by numerous law enforcement agencies, no trace of Nancy has been discovered and no suspects in her disappearance have been identified.
