Keeping up a love life has been challenging for Kim Kardashian.
The “Kardashians” star admitted that dating after her divorce from ex-husband Kanye West has had turbulent moments, particularly when the rapper appeared to take aim at Pete Davidson while she was dating the “Saturday Night Live star.”
In fact, Kardashian cited a particularly troubling experience during her appearance on “Call Her Daddy” after host Alex Cooper inquired about “the Pete music video,” seemingly referring to West’s 2022 music video for “Eazy.” In the clip, the rapper was depicted kidnapping a claymation version of Davidson before burying him alive and growing roses out of his head.
“That made me feel really sad,” Kardashian, 44, said during her appearance on the Oct. 15 episode of the podcast. “That really wasn’t fair for him. And I felt so sad and sorry for him.”
While the dig upset the SKIMS founder, she shared that Davidson — whom she dated for nine months from 2021 to 2022 — appeared unfazed by the matter.

“He was such a great man that was like, ‘I got this, don’t worry, it’s all good ’— or at least acted that way,” she recalled. “It must suck to be put in that position.”
And Kardashian — who shares kids North, 12, Psalm, 9, Chicago, 7, and Saint, 6, with West — noted that the rapper’s presence in her life was a factor with other romantic interests as well.
“There [have] been situations where I’ll get close to someone, then it’s like, ‘Wait, wait, wait, wait, I don’t really want to deal with your ex,’” Kardashian revealed. “It has been a little frustrating but… my person wouldn’t care about that.”
Meanwhile, Kardashian also shared insight into her coparenting relationship with the Grammy winner, noting that it’s been “a couple months” since their kids heard from their dad.
“I raise the kids full time,” she shared. “They live with me and I welcome a great healthy relationship with my kids and their dad. He knows that. I push for it all the time, but I also protect them when it’s time for that and it goes in waves and phases. It’s a lot of work.”
