Guests followed a strict no-phones or Apple Watches policy, prompting Brad to buy a watch to keep track of time
Kimberly Williams-Paisley is spilling all the tea from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding — but only to her sister.
Just one week ago, Kimberly attended the wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, with her husband, Brad Paisley. Since then, guests have remained mostly tight-lipped about the New York nuptials, presumably under NDA, but Kimberly couldn’t keep the starry details from her sister, Ashley Williams.
During an interview with PauseRewind released on Thursday, July 9, Ashley, 47, revealed that Kimberly, 54, shared “every single tiny little detail” with her.

Although Ashley never named Swift and Kelce directly, it’s clear whose wedding she’s talking about. She began, “All I know is that on Friday, my sister had an event, and I did what every good little sister does, and I supported her as she got ready. And when I say supported her, I mean I danced around like a total weirdo and squealed a lot.”
At the time, Ashley posted evidence of this by sharing an Instagram reel of herself excitedly dancing behind Kimberly as the Father of the Bride star showed off her off-shoulder floral gown. The post was set to “Lover” by Swift and Ashley joked in the caption, “My invitation might have gotten lost in the mail, no idea why. 😍😍😍.”
The next morning, Saturday, July 4, the sisters debriefed over breakfast bagels while watching ships sail up the Hudson River to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday. Kimberly didn’t leave out any juicy information, with Ashley admitting, “She told me every single tiny little detail.”
Before the wedding, Ashley and Kimberly discussed a lot “on a logistical level.” A “very big stressor” was the strict no-phones wedding policy. Guests were told the rule in advance, but that left Kimberly wondering how to keep track of time and navigate the party.
“She was like, ‘What do I do if I have to go to the bathroom? And then I come back from the bathroom, and I don’t know anybody.’ The strategy was to take people with you to the bathroom,” Ashley explained. “There was a lot of, like, ‘I have to pee. Can you come with me?’ “
She continued, “She was also like, ‘How am I gonna know what time it is?’ So Brad actually bought a watch because you were not allowed to have Apple Watches, either, so Brad bought just a watch so he could know what time it was.”
Ashley said it was fun to be living vicariously through her sister. She says, “I was just literally like, ‘Yeah, get your popcorn and just watch the show.’ And then luckily, when she was ready, I was like, ‘Do a dance with me!’ “

Brad and Kimberly’s Nashville grocery nonprofit organization, The Store, was among those receiving part of Swift and Kelce’s pre-wedding $26 million charity donations. Before heading to the wedding, the longtime couple took a moment to thank Swift and Kelce for their donations.
“On the eve of the wedding of Tay and Trav, this is really an amazing thing to think about, the gift they gave The Store. We just wanted to take a second and say it’s transformative. It will feed so many families, and what a way to start a marriage. I’m very excited,” Brad said in a joint Instagram reel.
“We’re truly inspired by Taylor and Travis’s generosity to so many wonderful organizations, and extremely grateful that The Store is included among them,” Brad and Kimberly said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “This gift will go a long way toward helping our neighbors facing food insecurity in Nashville. What a beautiful way to celebrate the beginning of a marriage!”
Among the other organizations receiving donations from Swift and Kelce are City Harvest, the Food Bank for N.Y.C., New York Cares, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters in Kansas City, Helping Harvest in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Feeding America, the ASPCA, Grammy in the Schools and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
