‘Kimmel’ Guest Host Nicole Byer Makes A ‘Dangerous’ Example Out Of Trump’s D.C. Talk

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” guest host Nicole Byer on Monday had a blunt reminder for President Donald Trump over his false claims about “out of control” crime in the District of Columbia — talk he pushed while announcing plans to take control of the police force in the nation’s capital.

“I mean, the man’s got a point. D.C. can be a very, very dangerous place. I remember, on Jan. 6, 2021, when someone told an angry mob to get their steps in by storming the Capitol. And that someone was the president!” quipped the comedian in a nod to the deadly riot.

Byer went on to suggest that she went too far, adding that she didn’t want to get Kimmel in “trouble” before his return to the program.

She proceeded to take a much more flattering tone, “Great job, Mr. President! Oh my God, you go, girl! We love what you’re doing! You’re the smartest man alive, you’re hung like a tarantula!”
