King Charles Is ‘Wary’ Of Seeing Prince Harry As The Yearslong Royal Feud Is Still Unresolved
Speaking of the monarch – although the King will undoubtedly be thrilled that his estranged son and his family could be heading to the U.K. soon, insiders are saying that he is still quite “wary” of seeing him, as the royal feud is very far from over. So as much as he wants to see his grandchildren, he will be proceeding with caution…
“While the King would never wish his younger son ill and has been ‘pained’ by the circumstances around their estrangement, he also remains extremely ‘wary’ of welcoming him back, given events of the past few years,” royal expert Rebecca English reportedly told the Daily Mail, citing her sources.

King Charles Felt ‘Railroaded’ Into Clarence House Meeting In September
English also suggests that Prince Harry gaining the private security he has long hoped for doesn’t mean everything will suddenly go back to normal, due to the aforementioned feud. She recalls how their infamous meeting at Clarence House in September last year was particularly telling – especially given how Prince Harry later accused people of trying to sabotage the meeting.
“Much has been made of their meeting at Clarence House in September, the first between them for 19 months,” English recalled. “And while people are reluctant to comment on the circumstances – knowing how hysterical the Sussexes can be about (wrongly) perceived palace briefings and leaks – the impression I get is that the King felt slightly railroaded into it,” she went on.
“In truth,” English added, “he knew that if he refused to meet Harry, then this would inevitably have been ‘weaponized’ against him at some point in the future. Better to meet and then retreat instead.”

Prince Harry Has ‘No Plans’ To Visit King Charles During His Next Visit To The UK
We can’t expect the estranged father and son to hug it out and forget everything that has gone on over the past five years when they next see each other.
In fact, it’s being reported that King Charles and Prince Harry are not expected to even meet when the Spare author goes to the U.K. later this month to give evidence in a court case against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
Prince Harry having “no plans” to see his father reportedly has more to do with the King not wanting to be involved in the court case rather than anything personal, though. Per the Telegraph: “More pertinently, royal sources acknowledge that he [King Charles] has no wish to be linked to any court proceedings, meaning that on this occasion, he would prefer to give his younger son a wide berth.”
