King Charles III is reportedly keeping his distance from his younger brother Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
According to The Times, Charles has been staying at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate since Sunday, ahead of Monday’s U.K. bank holiday. His brother currently lives nearby at Marsh Farm, reportedly after being forced to leave Royal Lodge earlier this year.
Even though they are staying on the same estate, the outlet reported that Charles has not scheduled a meeting with Andrew during the visit.
The latest reported distance within the royal family follows claims that Princess Kate was among the first senior royals to socially distance herself from Andrew as controversy surrounding him continued to grow, according to Page Six.

Earlier this year, Charles formally stripped Andrew of his titles and ordered him to vacate his longtime home, the Royal Lodge at Windsor, amid ongoing controversy tied to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019.

As Examiner previously reported, Andrew had temporarily stayed at Wood Farm before relocating to Marsh Farm following his arrest in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Authorities are investigating allegations that he shared confidential information connected to Epstein.
Just days ago, Thames Valley Police confirmed they are also looking into allegations tied to an alleged sexual misconduct incident from 2010.
“In addition to the investigation into misconduct in public office, the assessment of reports that a woman was taken to an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes is ongoing,” police said in a statement released Friday, May 22.
Andrew, who has not been charged, has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
