The monarch’s former butler, Grant Harrold, has written a memoir, “The Royal Butler: My Remarkable Life of Royal Service,” where he described how happy the young Prince William and Prince Harry were at their father’s second marriage. As per Vanity Fair, he wrote that “William and Harry had decorated their car with ‘Just Married.’” Moreover, when the newlywed couple “drove off,” the little “boys raced after the car.”
The narration contrasts what the Duke of Sussex mentioned in his memoir about their father marrying “the other woman.” Talking about the marriage, Harry wrote that he said to his father, “We support you, we said. We endorse Camilla, we said. Just please don’t marry her. Just be together, Pa.”
Harry added that despite the “published reports that Willy and I snuck out of the church and hung JUST MARRIED signs on their car,” that was not the case. “I might’ve hung a sign: BE HAPPY. If I’d thought of it at the time,” he wrote.
