Kirsten Dunst returned to the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of Paramount Pictures’ Roofman at the Paramount Theatre on Monday, reminding us all of her ability to strike the perfect note between classic and contemporary.

Her Valentino Resort 2026 strapless dress embraced the season’s polka dot trend, while oversized floral motifs elevated the playfulness into something with vintage-meets-modern sophistication. It’s a look that feels entirely Kirsten: unfussy, and romantic.
The asymmetrical draping at the waist gave the silhouette an easy softness, creating that perfect balance between structured and fluid. The design instantly brought to mind the custom Valentino dress Clairo wore for her All Things Go NYC performance, but Kirsten’s darker palette gave her dress a more evening-red-carpet-ready sensibility.

Her Sophie Bille Brahe jewelry—especially the pearl-accented choker—was the ideal complement: subtle yet striking without ever overshadowing the dress. Strappy black sandals and her signature soft waves sealed the deal.
This is Kirsten Dunst at her best—understated glamour with real staying power. Straight into the Hall of Fame. I am obsessed with this look.
