Kites on the Coast; Flora-Bama Beach Run

Seven days out is your guide to entertainment events, concerts, festivals and activities in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.

MONDAY

Sun Belt Men’s & Women’s Basketball Conference Championships

March 3 through 9. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. Division I basketball has landed in Pensacola. The men’s and women’s Sun Belt Basketball Championship Tournament will take place at the Bay Center. For one week, watch some of the best athletes in college basketball face off for their chance to win big to make it to the 2026 NCAA Division I Men and Women’s Basketball Tournament. Throughout the week, enjoy high-action games, entertainment from team bands and cheer squads, Fan Fest, a dribble drive, and more. Tickets start at $15. Young Life Gulf Breeze Pickleball Tournament

March 5 through 9. Portside Pickle 740 Commendencia St. Young Life Gulf Breeze is partnering with Portside Pickle for its inaugural Pickleball Tournament, which promises fun for the whole family. Small businesses around Pensacola, Pensacola Beach and Gulf Breeze have contributed to the silent auction to include Intracoastal Outfitters, Bluetique and an e-bike from Ride More Bicycles. There will be a raffle and food trucks. For ages 12 and older. Cost: $60 includes swag bag, raffle tickets and chance to win a high-end pickleball paddle. Exhumed

Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. March 9. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Rolfs Music Hall Artist Series

7:30 p.m. March 9. The Rolfs Music Hall, 11000 University Parkway, Building 82. The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music is presenting the Rolfs Music Hall Artist Series at UWF featuring guest violinist Shannon Thomas. Thomas is an acclaimed performer and educator known for her compelling artistry and passion for nurturing young musicians. A 2025 Fulbright Scholar finalist, she currently serves as associate professor of violin at Florida State University and directs the Gabriel Del Orbe Violin Program in the Dominican Republic. Shwayze

Draw Together Drawing Club

5 p.m. March 11. The Handlebar 319 N. Tarragona St. Enjoy a free event that is open to all ages and skill levels. Supplies will be provided. More info: thehandlebar850.com.

THURSDAY

The World is Your Oyster

5:30 p.m. March 12. Atlas Oyster House, 600 S. Barracks St. Atlas and executive chef Jason Hughes are proud to present The World is Your Oyster featuring special guests Grayson Bay Oyster Co. and Pensacola & Perdido Bays Estuary Program. Back by popular demand, Chef Hughes will once again present a family-style oyster dinner event and share stories of the Gulf, his favorite oyster recipes, and experiences. Pensacola & Perdido Bays Estuary Program and Grayson Bay Oyster Co. will also be on hand to speak about both of their missions, history, and to educate the importance and restoration of Pensacola and Perdido Bays Watersheds. $65. SIX: Teen Edition

7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 6 through 15. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Get ready to remix history with SIX: Teen Edition, the electrifying pop musical that reclaims the spotlight for the six wives of Henry VIII. In this high-energy, concert-style show, each queen takes the mic to tell her story — her way — through catchy songs, fierce choreography, and a girl-power attitude. Disco, Always: A Harry Styles Dance Night

8 p.m. March 12. The Handlebar, 319 N. Tarragona St. Party, disco and dance all night long with the Handlebar as they celebrate Harry’s new record. The DJ will be spinning Harry, One Direction, and more dance floor favorites. More info: thehandlebar850.com.

FRIDAY

Pensacola Film Festival

1 and 4 p.m. March 13, 14 and 15. SCI Building, 220 W. Garden St. The annual Pensacola Film Festival will include award winning and Oscar-nominated films from around the world.  The Oscars are announced the evening of March 15, live on ABC TV. Films will include the Oscar-nominated short films as well as some films being released first run here in the Pensacola market. Kites on the Coast

4 p.m. March 13 and 10 a.m. March 14 and 15. Gulfside Pavilion, 20 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Pensacola Beach. Kites on the Coast is a vibrant three-day festival that brings together families, visitors, and kite enthusiasts for a colorful celebration along the iconic white sands of Pensacola Beach. Attendees will enjoy stunning large-scale professional kite displays, ongoing demonstrations throughout the weekend, and a lively beach atmosphere filled with photo-ready moments. Pensacola Opera presents Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!

7 p.m. March 13 and 2 pm. March 15. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Dance back in time to the American wild west with Oklahoma! – a classic, feel-good musical that follows the blossoming love story between farm girl Laurey and charming cowboy Curly as they navigate rival suitors and the challenges of frontier life. With unforgettable songs like “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “People Will Say We’re in Love,” the lively “Kansas City,” and of course “Oklahoma!”, this Rodgers & Hammerstein classic captures the heartwarming spirit of a community on the brink of change. Ritual 6: Goth/Industrial Night

SATURDAY

Shamrock Stroll 5K Fun Run/Walk & Pet Parade

8 a.m. March 14. Springhill Suites Navarre Beach, 8375 Gulf Blvd. Get ready for the sixth annual Shamrock Stroll 5K Fun Run/Walk, Pet Parade & Costume Contest. Whether you’re a runner, walker, or pet lover, this event promises a morning filled with fun, excitement, and a whole lot of green. After crossing the finish line, stick around for refreshments (including green beer), prizes, and great company at Springhill Suites. Registration: $30. More info: navarrechamber.com.

Beach Run/Walk for America’s Warriors

7:30 a.m. March 14. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The half marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. and head east into Florida for 10.5 K then turn around and end at the Flora-Bama. The 5K will begin at 9 a.m. and head west in Alabama for 2.5K before turning around and ending at the Flora-Bama. All registration fees will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The foundation ensures full scholarship grants as well as educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, and immediate financial assistance for severely wounded personnel and their families. Grog March Charity Pub Crawl

4 p.m. March 14. O’Riley’s Irish Pub, 321 S. Palafox St. O’Riley’s is bringing back the Grog March Charity Pub Crawl for its 11th year. The pub has partnered with Manna Food Pantries to gather donations for the nonprofit. The event will be unaffected by the construction on Palafox. Entry into the event will be a donation of $10 and a nonperishable food item. Attendees will receive a collectible stein, event lanyard, and a limited edition Grog March 2026 T-shirt while supplies last. Attendees will also receive access to exclusive specials throughout the event and access to the prize giveaway during the Grog March afterparty. The Official Lucky’s St Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl

Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show

6 p.m. March 14. Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Downtown, 8 S. Ninth Ave. America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show is now playing. Solve a mystery while feasting on dinner. Just beware, the culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a prime suspect before you know it. This event differs from a traditional murder mystery dinner show. The actors are not dressed in costume and are hidden in the audience. Korn and Limp Bizkit Tribute Show

Gasolina: Reggaeton Party

9 p.m. March 14. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Gasolina: Reggaeton Party is a nationwide perreo featuring the sounds of classic and current reggaeton, Latin EDM, dembow y más for all to enjoy. Gasolina is dedicated to creating a community within the reggaetón and Latin music scene across the United States through exciting and innovative events. Shamrock Shuffle Pub Crawl

11:30 a.m. March 15. Play, 16 S. Palafox Place. If you thought last year’s Shamrock Shuffle Pub Crawl was wild, get ready to kick it up a notch as the event is back and bigger than ever. Festivities get underway at 11:30 a.m. at Perfect Plain, followed by 1 p.m. at B-SIDE, 2 p.m. at Cabaret and 3 p.m. at Play. More info: iplaypensacola.com.
