Between nearly two decades of the family’s famous reality television series, a year of Khloé’s podcast, Kim’s guest-starring spots on the likes of Call Her Daddy and On Purpose, and all five sisters’ (plus Kris’s!) active social media pages, new updates about the Kardashian-Jenner family are plentiful. But this weekend, Kourtney opened up about a particularly meaningful lifestyle change.
Taking to Instagram, the Lemme founder shared a story of a decadent Khloud Popcorn spread—courtesy of Khloé, who launched the protein snack company last April. Along with martini glasses filled with the latest flavor (truffle and white cheddar, yum!), a festive mocktail was waiting for the eldest Kardashian daughter, who took the opportunity to share a major life update. “I haven’t drank alcohol in 3 years,” she wrote on the post.
Although Kourtney has long been open about her wellness journey, she kept her sobriety announcement brief and her reasons personal. Even still, there is no doubt that her husband, Travis Barker, has been a supportive partner throughout her journey.
The Blink-182 drummer has been sober himself since 2008, when he experienced a horrible plane crash that left him with third-degree burns and PTSD. He has spoken candidly about his motivations, as well as on how the decision has allowed him to become the father he always wanted to be.
The couple welcomed their son Rocky in 2023, adding to their blended family for a total of six children—including Kardashian’s three children with Scott Disick, who has also spoken publicly about his own sobriety.
