The Krewe of Cypress hosted its annual debutante presentation ball on Nov. 28 at the Carl F. Grant Civic Center in Plaquemine.
Each debutante carried an autumn-themed nosegay of roses, adding a seasonal touch to the festivities. The presentation was coordinated by chairpersons Claudia Bourgeois and Heidi Guillory.
Debutantes presented to members and guests were:
- Amelia Cate Allemond, presented by her parents, Dr. Jason and Amy Allemond of Zachary, and escorted by her father;

- Aidan Camille Dooley, presented by her parents, Dr. Patrick and Mercedes Dooley of Baton Rouge, and escorted by her father.
- Kinsley Paige Seneca, presented by her parents, Nina and Clint Seneca, and escorted by her father. She is also the daughter of Crissi Canezaro.
Angie Bergeron served as mistress of ceremonies, with Lee Berthelot, Christopher Couch and Jacob Wilbert assisting as committeemen. During the ceremonial toast, Logan Doré and Fred Sanchez served champagne to the debutantes and their escorts.
Following the formal presentation, the debutantes, krewe members and guests enjoyed an evening of dancing.
The debutantes will also participate as maids in the krewe’s annual Carnival ball, scheduled for Jan. 31 in Plaquemine.
