“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner is being dragged by fans online after sharing a teaser for a new project that showcased her being led away by pretend police officers in handcuffs.
On social media, netizens are sharing their furious reactions to the reality star’s clip, prompting the 28-year-old to limit the comments on her Instagram account.
Kylie’s post comes amid the backlash Donald Trump’s administration has received after the Department of Homeland Security initiated “Operation Midway Blitz” in Chicago, leading to the arrest of more than 800 individuals.
And Kylie Jenner isn’t the only celebrity generating buzz after sharing a post that many believed to be politically charged. Country singer Zach Bryan also faced pushback in early October for sharing a clip of a new song that called out ICE and law enforcement officers.

Kylie has been teasing a new drop for her beauty brand over the last few days, complete with teaser social media posts on Instagram and Snapchat. However, the latest clip of the mother of two, which showed her being escorted down a prison hallway in handcuffs with actors portraying cops, has rubbed some people the wrong way.
While Kylie received many comments of support online, she’s being slammed on Reddit by one specific user who shared a passionate post, accusing the millionaire of promoting “American rot” while the country is “boiling over” and citizens are “being dragged off by rogue, badge-hungry… cops.”
The post has sparked even more conversation, with one commenter calling the celebrity “out of touch” and another dragging her for allegedly “trying to cater to the male gaze.”

And the negative comments didn’t end there. One user chimed in and called the Kylie Beauty founder’s post “actually gross,” while another called it “unbelievably tone deaf.”
Other users branded Kylie a “f-cking idiot,” while another accused the Kardashian/Jenner family of caring about “nothing but themselves.”
“It’s actually pathetic and beyond tone deaf at this point,” they continued. “It really solidifies what they truly are about. Vapid nothings.”
A fifth user likened Kylie’s post to that of her sister, Kendall Jenner, and her Pepsi ad from 2017, which sparked even more outrage and controversy.

For those unfamiliar, Kendall was in the middle of a firestorm herself in 2017 when she starred in a Pepsi ad during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The commercial featured the supermodel leading a crowd of rowdy individuals to an army of police officers and handing them a can of the fizzy soda, which, somehow, magically brokered peace.
Pepsi removed the ad and, in a statement, admitted the company “missed the mark.”
“We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position,” the statement continued, per NBC News.
Kylie Jenner Is Not The Only Celebrity Sparking Conversations About ICE

Kylie isn’t the only celebrity sparking conversations about the current state of affairs in the United States.
Country singer Zach Bryan, according to a previous report from The Blast, generated buzz in early October 2025 when he shared a snippet of a new song believed to be called “Bad News,” in which he labels cops “cocky motherf-ckers.”
“My friends are all degenerates, but they’re all I got, the generational story of dropping the plot. I heard the cops came, Cocky motherf-ckers, ain’t they?” Bryan sang in the clip. “And ICE is gonna come bust down your door, try to build a house no one builds no more, but I got a telephone, Kids are all scared and all alone.”
Bryan Clarifies Stance
Bryan’s post has garnered over 224,000 likes on Instagram at the time of this publication; however, the “I Remember Everything” performer clearly struck a nerve with some right-leaning individuals, such as John Rich and the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, who called his lyrics “disrespectful.”
Bryan clarified his stance on social media and told his followers that he didn’t release the song with the intention of being a “greater-than-thou” celebrity.
He continued, “To see how much sh-t it stirred up makes me not only embarrassed, but kind of scared.”
The 29-year-old finished, “To be clear, I’m on neither of these radical sides.”
Bryan and Kylie’s posts come amid the DHS’s latest initiative, “Operation Midway Blitz,” which, according to a press release, has seen more than 800 arrests in the state of Illinois.
“This operation will target the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens in Chicago,” a DHS spokesperson revealed.
