This all comes as the mother of two, was hit by a lawsuit that was filed last Friday, April 17. A former housekeeper is suing Kylie and two other businesses, claiming that she experienced harassment and discrimination while working for the reality TV star.
According to the court docs, obtained by The Los Angeles Times, the former housekeeper worked for Kylie from September 2024 to August 2025. She stated that she was treated with “hostility and exclusion” by the head housekeeper and another supervisor on her first day on the job.
The plaintiff noted that she is Salvadoran woman who practices Catholicism. She went on to claim how the staff treated her terribly by assigning her horrible tasks and excluding her from the housekeeping team.
According to the docs, the staffers humiliated and belittled her due to her race, country of origin, religion and immigration status.
The former housekeeper additionally alleged that her accent was mocked and ridiculed. She claimed that the supervisors snapped their fingers as they yelled at her, demanded to check her phone, forced her to do the other staff members’ responsibilities and made remarks that included, “Catholics are horrible people.”
The plaintiff said she reported the mistreatment after Thanksgiving 2024, and then it intensified. In March 2025, when she went to complain about the mistreatment again, she claimed a supervisor threw hangers at her feet and threatened her.
The former housekeeper did not directly accuse Kylie of bullying and harassment. However, she did allege that the defendants (which includes Kylie) did not pay her in full, paid her late, didn’t pay overtime wages, and failed to reimburse business expenses, among other claims.
She is seeking damages “in the form of unpaid wages, meal and rest period premium pay, unreimbursed business expenses, unpaid sick leave, and all other compensation unlawfully withheld.”
