Kylie Kelce had a surprising reaction to learning that Taylor Swift had dethroned her for the most listened to episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast.
“Officially no longer the record holder for the most watched episode of the other podcast. There’s no way it’s even close, and I love that for me,” Kylie, 33, said during the beginning of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast on Thursday, August 14.
Kylie made her debut on “New Heights” alongside husband Jason, 37, and brother-in-law Travis, 35, in September 2023. At the time, the episode garnered 8.6 million views in less than 24 hours.
While it has not yet been 24 hours since Swift’s episode debuted on Wednesday, August 13, Kylie felt confident that the “Love Story” singer’s episode would dethrone hers. After all, the live stream episode brought in 1.3 million viewers and the number has only been growing.
“It is very entertaining to watch the Internet break,” Kylie said of the fan’s excitement over Swift’s appearance. “It’s just crumbling apart, and I love it. I love it. I love that we know that a day before it releases my interview on the other podcast is going to lose its long-tenured reign as most-watched episode, and I welcome that whole heartedly. Let’s drop that sucker down.”

Jason even joked that Kylie’s episode would lose the title during his interview with Swift. “I think Kylie enjoyed being the no. 1 most viewed episode for the time that she had,” he quipped.
“Don’t you do that to Kylie,” Travis responded, with Swift also jumping in to defend the mother of four. She said, “Don’t do that. You guys throw Kylie under the bus, you’re gonna pay for it.”
During her podcast debut, Swift announced her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and shared the cover art and the October 3 release date. She also revealed that her collaborators were Max Martin and Shellback, hinting that the album will be full of bops.
In addition to teasing her career, Swift got emotional as she recalled learning that she was able to buy her masters back. The “Cornelia Street” singer continued to open up as she shared health updates about her parents and looked back on the early days of her relationship with Travis.
