If you’re planning to spend time this Christmas in the corner of a room wearing a VR headset, why not give your vocal cords an outing too? That’s the goal of Sing, a new game released for Meta Quest headsets.
It’s the work of developer Realize Music via a partnership with B2B firm Tuned Global, and is launching with a catalogue of more than 1m songs from UMG, Sony Music, WMG and Beggars Group.
The game itself sees players singing along to tracks, with the virtual environments adapting to their pitch and rhythm. Songs can be previewed for free and then bought a la carte, although
Sing also has a subscription option for full access to its catalogue, which will cost $14.99 a month or $119.99 a year once its introductory discount (to $9.99 a month) ends. The pitch to players is that this is more than just a game: it’s a wellness tool.
The startup plans to launch it on other VR headsets in 2026 too.
