Lady Louise Windsor has not joined her family for the annual Easter Sunday service today for a major reason. The 22-year-old is currently in her final year at the University of St Andrews in Scotland – which is where Prince William and Princess Catherine studied and met.
According to the university website, the royal will still be in her studying term – which likely explains her absence from today’s event. Having spent a large period of the year in Scotland, her last notable appearance was during the Christmas Day walkabout in Norfolk in December.
She previously attended The London International Horse Show with her mum, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
Despite her absence, the King and Queen have been joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, who will turn eight later this month.
Princess Anne, Peter Phillips and his fiancée Harriet Sperling have also joined the King and Queen.
At the rear of the group were the late Queen’s niece, Lady Sarah Chatto and her husband, Daniel.
Lady Louise is due to finish her studies this summer.
