  • EggstravaganZoo: Celebrate the arrival of spring at Zoosiana (Zoo of Acadiana) with its monthlong EggstravaganZoo event throughout March 2026, featuring daily family-friendly activities such as an Easter-themed scavenger hunt, candy giveaways, and photo opportunities, along with special weekend attractions including photos with the Easter Bunny, interactive activity stations, keeper talks and face painting, all taking place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Cheaper Than Therapy: Live music at Buck & Johnny’s starting at 6:30 p.m. at 100 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.

  • Washington Community Festival:  The Washington Community Festival will returns, reviving the spirit of the former Catfish Festival once celebrated in the historic steamboat town, with festivities stretching along Main Street in Washington from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., featuring three blocks of vendors, live music, an antique car show, and a Catfish Gravy Cook-Off inspired by the region’s long-standing connection to the Bayou Courtableau and its abundance of catfish, alongside a silent auction and a Kid’s Korner offering games and activities for children throughout the day.
  • Francophone Day at Vermilionville: “Parlez-vous Français?” Even if the answer is “un peu,” families are invited to enjoy a day of language and culture at Family Francophone Day at Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park, where visitors can practice their French, expand their vocabulary, and immerse themselves in Francophone traditions through activities such as pétanque and other classic games, French-language tours of the village, live music, poetry readings, and hands-on crafts, with the event taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission priced at $12 for adults and $7 for students.

Sunday, March 22
