Patrick Kielty is back on our screens for a special edition of the Late Late Show, which will celebrate the best moments from 2025
Inhaler, David Gray, Lyra, Garron Noone, Sharon Shannon and more lead the line-up for the Late Late Show New Year’s Eve Special.
As we close out 2025 and welcome 2026, Patrick Kielty hosts a glittering extravaganza filled with music, laughter and a look back at the unforgettable moments from the year gone by.
With spectacular performances, surprise collaborations and entertaining chats, it’s a party you won’t want to miss if you’re staying in for the celebrations.
Audiences can look forward to standout performances from David Gray, including iconic hit Babylon, while Lyra will bring her powerhouse vocals to a stunning rendition of Edge of Seventeen.
Gavin James will captivate viewers with songs including Storm Warning, while Cork-based band Cliffords showcase their unique sound with My Favourite Monster after a break-through year.
The evening will also showcase special collaborations that promise to be highlights of the night.
Renowned musician Sharon Shannon will team up with Irish singer Lucia Evans and The Late Late Show House Band throughout the night promising lively performances.
Scott Gorham pays tribute to Irish rock legend Phil Lynott, followed by a rendition of Old Town by The Stunning.
Adding even more energy to the celebrations, comic-musician Garron Noone will join forces with The Stunning for a performance guaranteed to knock audiences’ socks off.
Adding to the sparkle of the night, Irish heptathlete Kate O’Connor, Olympic rower Fintan McCarthy, architect Dermot Bannon and cast members from the hit series Traitors Ireland will join Patrick for lively conversations.
Lyra, Garron Noone and David Gray will also set aside the microphones to catch up with Patrick, ensuring a mix of entertainment, performance and chat throughout the show.
The festivities will culminate with a live countdown from Dublin Castle, where Inhaler will take to the stage to welcome 2026 in front of a jubilant audience.
Presenter Kayleigh Trappe will stand by as the nation counts down together to the new year as a spectacular fireworks display lights up Dublin Castle.
