The Daily Mail reported this week that the 66-year-old former duchess had reportedly engaged in talks about the potential show, including Zoom meetings. A source even said that Sarah “was pushing to get back into TV and make some money”. By cloning the late Queen’s dogs?
While the plan has thankfully not gone ahead, even the fact that the former duchess was allegedly considering such a move is shocking. And one that would no doubt have absolutely horrified Queen Elizabeth II.
It’s just shameful. A spokesperson for the ex-duchess insisted Sarah “never had any intention of monetising the corgis”, but admitted she had been “looking at doing a TV show about dogs for many years, long before she had the corgis”.
The revelation is also the last thing Sarah needs, especially as her reputation has sunk to an all-time low over recent months following her appearance in the Epstein files.
While the files do not indicate wrongdoing, they have shown to the world that Sarah remained friends with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein even after he was convicted for child sex offences. And not only friends, but close friends, calling him a “legend” and like a “brother”.
This, along with these new claims about how she would have cloned dogs for money, is just beyond shameful. Sarah has been approached by the Express for comment.
