Following multiple public appearances together earlier this year which fueled dating rumors, Lewis Hamilton shared a video on Instagram of him taking Kim Kardashian out for some drifting in the streets of Tokyo.
In the clip, Hamilton could be seen showing off his talents behind the wheel of a Ferrari. At the end of the video, he drifts to a stop, and Kim Kardashian is seen in the passenger seat. “That’s insane,” she laughed, to which Hamilton smiled while still behind the wheel. On his Instagram Stories, he shared the clip and captioned, “Wait is over.”
The pair have been rumored to be in a relationship since at least February of this year. They reportedly enjoyed a private getaway in the UK and France at the start of the year, and they made their first public appearance when they attended the Super Bowl together.
The latest Instagram post is the closest they’ve come to going Instagram official so far, although they’ve yet to publicly refer to each other romantically on social media. Kardashian recently shared photos on her Instagram Stories that showed her during a visit to teamLab Planets in Tokyo with her three youngest children, whom she shares with the artist formerly known as Kanye West.
The timing lined up with Hamilton’s involvement in the Japan Grand Prix from March 27 to March 29 at the Suzuka Circuit. A source told People that she was also joined by her sister Khloé Kardashian and her two children, seven-year-old True and three-year-old Tatum.
