Liam Gallagher has hinted at a European tour with Oasis in 2026, but seemingly ruled out releasing new music.
After 41 shows across the globe, from Cardiff to Sâo Paulo, the Oasis Live ’25 world tour came to an end on November 23rd, and Liam is already itching to return to the stage again.
His new comments come after Oasis celebrated the end of the tour by issuing the following statement, “From Gallagher Hill to the River Plate, from Croke Park on the banks of the Royal Canal to the City Of Angels, the love, joy, tears and euphoria will never be forgotten. There will now be a pause for a period of reflection.”
Although Oasis haven’t any dates in the schedule, their statement does allude to the band returning in the future.
Then, on November 25th, Liam was asked by a fan on X, “What do u want for Christmas”, which led to Gallagher revealing his hopes for Oasis in 2026, sharing, “A European tour”.
Notably, mainland Europe was absent from their 2025 itinerary. However, this summer, a councillor in Rome did claim on local radio that negotiations were underway to bring Oasis to the Italian capital.
In another X post, Liam jokingly said when a fan asked if he’d be in trouble from management for his comments about a European tour, “I’m allowed to dream just like you I’m mad for OASIS touring Europe it’ll be BIBLICAL I love Europe it’s my favorite country.”
While another tour seems likely, judging by Gallagher’s latest comments, new music from Oasis appears out of the question by the same metric. In response to one fan asking about the prospect of new music from Oasis, replying on X, “New music is for WANKERS”.
Then, in another post, the singer elaborated, “It’s not I honestly do t see the point it won’t be as good as the old stuff im quite happy singing the old stuff I’m not 1 of those WANKERS that need to keep pushing it forward or sideways or backwards in some cases NOSTALGIA forever”.
Gallagher also appeared to confirm that his solo career will be left in the past, telling an X user, “What’s the point it’s OASIS or nothing moma dint raise no fool”.
