Prince Harry reportedly turned to his wife to make a brutal 7-worded comment during their last-ever royal appearance at the Commonwealth Day service in 2020. During the annual service at Westminster Abbey, Harry greeted his brother as the two sat down alongside their wives.
According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Harry turned to Meghan Markle and said: “At least they acknowledged, unlike last time”. He also said Prince William whispered to Princess Catherine: “That was executed well.”
The couples are believed to no longer be on speaking terms, with their feud escalating since Harry and Meghan moved to the US.
Royal author Omid Scobie has previously spoken of the relationship that Harry has with his older brother.
The author told PEOPLE in 2023 that Harry wanted some accountability from William, with him now revealing that “nothing much has changed”.
Speaking this year, the author added: “Nothing has changed. The expectations and wants and wishes of Prince Harry are exactly the same as they were then – and none of them have been met.”

Discussing Harry, he also revealed that the 41-year-old has attempted to reconnect with William on numerous occasions.
Amid “repeated attempts”, he revealed that many of his attempts have been “through mutual friends and individuals that they both deem important in their lives”. Harry and Meghan have resided in California since 2020, with the pair sharing a home with their two children – Prince Archie, six, and four-year-old Princess Lilibet – in Montecito.
