Live music and other events are planned in The Woodlands area from July 16-19, with the latest free concert happening at Hughes Landing for Rock the Row on Thursday along with performances at local music venues through the weekend. Here’s a look at those and other events happening in The Woodlands area this weekend.
Rock the Row
The outdoor concert series Rock the Row is returning this summer for its summer lineup. The series will include live music such as Latin, soul, Motown, and funk and pop hits. The July 16 concert features soul music by Brenda Guy The One Woman Show.
Dosey Doe-The Big Barn
Dosey-Doe-The Big Barn will host performances by The Speaker Wars featuring Stan Lynch of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at 8 p.m, July 17, and Jason Cassidy is performing at 8:30 p.m. July 18, followed by Cool Freddy E & The Crew at 7:30 p.m. July 19.
Quiet Discovery Hours
The Woodlands Children’s Museum offers sensory-friendly hours on several Saturday mornings this summer. Attending guests will be able peruse the museum for an hour before it opens to the general public. Guests can remain as long as they like. The mornings will feature limited capacity, sound reduction, sensory programming and a quiet zone.
Music at the Pavilion
Flatland Cavalry will perform at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on July 18.
Pop at the pool
Attendees can enjoy the pool with torpedo tumble inflatables. Complimentary popsicles will also be provided along with a chance to win a free punch card.
