A theatre company is set to bring a “hilarious” baking-based show to Glusburn.
Badapple Theatre will perform Crumbs, a story following a former TV baking show host turned social media influencer, in Glusburn on Friday, May 1.
A spokesperson said: “Crumbs follows the life and times of our heroine, an ex-TV baking show host who claims she was moved on for ‘being too old for television,’ but is there more to the story?
“Now trying to re-style herself within the fast-paced and cut-throat world of influencers and social media millionaires, we follow her hilarious slips and trips in setting up her new channel launch as she tries to keep the lights – and the oven – on, in the face of almost certain doom.”
The one-person show, promising both comedy and some baking for the audience, is performed by Kate Bramley of York Theatre Royal.
Doors and the bar open at 7pm, with the show starting 30 minutes later.
Tickets are £15 for adults and £8 for people under 16.
Another live event, the Desperado Farewell Tour, will also take place in Glusburn on Saturday, May 16.
Desperado will journey through the timeless legacy of the Eagles for one last time for their upcoming Farewell Tour.
Doors and the bar open at 7pm, show starts at 7.30pm, and tickets are £21.
