Dunne gained fame through gymnastics, social media, and the NIL movement.
Swift wrote, Dunne is “someone I admire, and ultimately want to celebrate with.”
Apart from being one of the most highly recognized collegiate gymnasts in recent history, Livvy Dunne also happens to be a Taylor Swift fan. This is exactly why the former LSU Tigers star was at a loss for words after receiving a special gift from the 14-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter.
Swift launched her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on Oct. 3, and she has since been busy promoting it on multiple platforms. This includes sending over special gifts to celebrity pals, who have been posting them on social media. On Friday, Dunne revealed that she is one of the lucky few who received a special treat from Swift.

Dunne’s rise to superstardom began around 2020 when she joined LSU. While she had already competed and been a very successful junior gymnast before becoming a Tiger, it was during the early days of the NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) movement’s build-up that she earned national fame.
Dunne’s popularity took off amid the social media boom during the pandemic. She became one of the first college athletes to reach millions of followers across multiple platforms, which ultimately made her one of, if not the highest-earning, female college athlete.
On Friday, Dunne took to Instagram to reveal that she, too, is just like any other fan when it comes to Taylor Swift. She posted a photo of a package from the “Eras Tour” headliner, which contained a record of “The Life of a Showgirl,” other “gifts” and a personalized note from Swift herself.
According to Swift’s note, she considers Dunne to be “someone I admire, and ultimately want to celebrate with” in welcoming the new album.
Apart from her myriad of endorsement deals, Dunne has recently been busy with her move to Jupiter, Florida. The MLB season is also over for the Pittsburgh Steelers, which means she is able to spend more time with her boyfriend, Paul Skenes.
Skenes made a cameo in one of Dunne’s recent Instagram posts. The couple assembled a bed in Dunne’s new luxurious beachside home.
