Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced a global partnership with French audio technology brand Devialet to introduce a new standard of sound across its 96 properties worldwide.
Under the deal, Devialet becomes the exclusive sound solution provider for Fairmont, enhancing in-room and in-lobby experiences, as well as Fairmont Gold lounges. Guests will also be able to purchase select Devialet products through the Fairmont Store, including Gemini earbuds, the Mania Bluetooth speaker and, soon, the Phantom speaker for home use.
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts CEO Omer Acar said the partnership builds on the brand’s long-standing association with music and performance.
“Music has always been integral to the Fairmont guest experience, and partnering with Devialet allows us to honor this heritage while delivering the next generation of immersive sound experiences,” he said.
Fairmont hotels have hosted world-renowned artists including David Bowie, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Cash and John Lennon. Acar said the collaboration continues this cultural legacy while enhancing Fairmont’s reputation as a hub for community and connection.
Devialet CEO Jacques Demont said both brands share a commitment to transforming guest moments into lasting memories.
“By weaving Devialet’s sound signature into the heart of Fairmont’s spaces, we are making acoustic excellence a new cornerstone of hospitality,” Demont said.
As part of the rollout, curated soundscapes will be introduced in hotel lobbies and tailored “sound journeys” in select guestrooms. The brands will also stage joint activations, including Disappearing Bar pop-ups that pair Fairmont’s cocktail culture with Devialet-powered sound, and a Party Like It’s 1907 series revisiting iconic concerts hosted at Fairmont hotels.
Fairmont said the partnership reflects its strategy to combine heritage with innovation, delivering new sensory experiences for modern luxury travellers.
