Need something to do this week in Coral Springs? We’ve got you covered.

Try something new, from kickboxing to 3D printing, or check out family-friendly reading and yoga sessions — all free of charge. Plus, get support with parenting, property taxes, or your job hunt.

Mainstay live music events will also continue at Sharkey’s Bar and Grill, the Walk and Coconut Creek Casino.

Here’s what’s happening in and around the city from Monday, Feb. 23, through Thursday, Feb. 26:

Monday

Job fair (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)

Meet with recruiters from local, state and national businesses and find your next gig at Northwest Regional Library’s monthly event. Visit the library events page to learn more.

Chess club for experienced players (4 to 5:30 p.m.)

Visit the Northwest Regional Library for casual game play for experienced players of all ages. Boards and pieces will be provided, but game clocks are not. Learn more and register to attend online.

3D printing open house (6 to 7 p.m.)

Visitors of all ages are invited to learn the basics of 3D printing at the monthly Creation Station open house at Coral Springs’ library. Instruction will include how to find and prepare designs for printing, and how to place orders for future prints at the library. Learn more and sign up online.

Beginners meetup at Broward Golf Center (7 to 9 p.m.)

New to golf and not sure where to start? Join fellow learners at the Broward Golf Center — no equipment required. The evening will begin with practice swinging different clubs and working on hand placement, followed by moving to the range to hit balls. While the event is free, members who move to the range will split the cost of the balls they use. All participants must be 18 years old or older. Learn more and register to attend on Meetup.

Tuesday

Smithson’s Gamble: The Incredible History Behind the World’s Largest Museum (2 to 3 p.m.)

Learn about the intriguing and sometimes-mysterious story behind the Smithsonian Institute with Curator Emeritus Tom Crouch in this online session. Registration is required — check it out on the Broward Libraries event page.

Black Hair-story Month storytime (4 to 5 p.m.)

Children over 6 and their caregivers are invited to express themselves, celebrate their Blackness, and embrace their ancestry with a local hair stylist at the Northwest Regional Library. This event is free, but registration is required. Get tickets online.

Zumba at Eagles’ Haven (6 to 7 p.m.)

Head to the local community wellness center for a fun, energetic dance-cardio class aimed at building endurance and coordination while reducing stress. All fitness levels are welcome. Learn more on the Eagles’ Haven webpage.

Wednesday

The Parents Collective support group (5 to 6:30 p.m.)

Connect with fellow parents through open conversations, guided discussions and opportunities to exchange advice, resources and encouragement in a judgment-free environment. Learn more and register to attend on the Eagles’ Haven events page.

Dr. K and the Co-Pays at The Walk (6 to 8 p.m.)

Enjoy live music at one of Coral Springs’ shopping and dining hubs, featuring rock and Motown covers from Dr. K and the Co-Pays. Learn more and check out dinner and dessert options on Facebook.

Understanding sextortion and online grooming (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.)

Parents and caregivers are invited to Northwest Regional Library for an International Rescue Committee seminar on how technology can be used to exploit young people — and how to promote digital safety at home. Learn more and sign up online.

Stephen Draper debuts at Sharkey’s (7 p.m.)

Head to Sharkey’s Bar and Grill to hear original msuic by Stephen Draper, a solo country singer whose work “pays tribute to the Red White and Blue.” Learn more on Facebook and reserve a table on Toast.

Manny and the Rumors at Coconut Creek Casino (7 to 11 p.m.)

Head to Nectar at Coconut Creek Casino for its weekly country music night, featuring classic covers by Manny Diquez and his band. Learn more online.

Thursday (2/26)

Meet your property appraiser (10:30 a.m. to noon)

Talk to experts and snag major savings on your property tax bill with the wide variety of exemptions available through the Broward County Property Appraiser’s office during the department’s stop in Coral Springs. Learn more and reserve a slot on the Northwest Regional Library webpage.

Respira bilingual family yoga (11 to 11:30 a.m.)

Enjoy Spanish and English family yoga at the Northwest Regional Library, sponsored by One Beautiful World. Participants must bring water bottles and mats. Save your seat online.

Read for the Record Day celebration (11:30 a.m. to noon)

Take part in the world’s largest shared reading experience and celebrate early literacy skills at your library with a live reading, hands-on activity, and book giveaway centered on “See Marcus Grow,” written by social media sensation Garden Marcus. On the mat therapeutic fitness (4:15 to 5:15 p.m.)

Feeling stiff, achy or as if your body isn’t keeping up at the same pace it used to? This Eagles’ Haven class usees bodyweight stretches and exercises to encourage functional mobility for shoulders, hips, back and core. Learn more and sign up online.

Raw kickboxing (5:30 to 6:30 p.m.)

No experience is needed for this strength and endurance training session for kickboxing beginners. Check it out on the Eagles’ Haven website.

Community Iftar (6 to 8 p.m.)

Head to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts for a conversation and communal meal celebrating the month of Ramadan, organized by the Coral Springs Multicultural Committee, the South Florida Muslim Federation and Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer Bowen. Learn more online.

Shakey T and the Friends at Sharkey’s (7 p.m.)

Enjoy classic country and blues from Shakey T with dinner and drinks at one of Coral Springs’ entertainment mainstays. Learn more on Facebook.

Pickup soccer at Tradewinds Park (7:30 to 8:30 p.m.)

Get active and make new friends during this laid-back, women-only 7-v-7 soccer match on the new turf soccer fields at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek. Players should email [email protected] and include their name and phone number. Fees, which cover field rental, range from $15 to $18 depending on how many people sign up. Learn more on Meetup.
