Long Step Ranch—which has cattle, sheep and even peacocks roaming throughout—finished building an outdoor stage and dance floor in February that is serving as the centerpiece for music events on the property.
About the owner
Owner Justin LeClair purchased the first 20 acres of the property in 2023 and added 60 acres of land in 2025.
However, the magic, he emphasized, happens just inside the entrance gate.
“My favorite part about running Long Step Ranch is definitely the dancing,” LeClair told Community Impact. “It adds so much to the live music experience and there are too few outdoor venues with large dedicated dance floors close to town.”
What we know
The most recent event at Long Step Ranch was held March 15, and featured a variety of bands, including:
“This is exactly the kind [of venue] that reminds us why we love doing this in the first place—good songs, good friends and a place that feels like home even if you have never been there before,” said Kira Annalise and Willie Heath Neal, the husband and wife duo of The Waymores.
What else?
Upcoming events and further site improvements—which LeClair noted will include a large barn that will feature an indoor stage, a bunkhouse for traveling bands and a pool table—will be announced online and through social media.
