June 4 (UPI) — A new collection of music from the late pop icon Prince is set for release this summer.
“Timeless, a new collection of rare and previously unreleased recordings that trace the evolution of Prince’s legendary career,” the artist’s official Instagram account said Thursday.
“We welcome a first-of-its-kind music project that covers songs from each decade of his beautiful life. Arriving August 28, the set features 10 tracks from 1977-2016, including the newly unveiled single ‘Stone,’ available now.”
A concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of Prince’s death is to take place in Minneapolis on Friday.
Morris Day, Miguel, Tevin Campbell, Bilal, Kat Graham, Sounds of Blackness and Kris Kollins are confirmed as performers.
Grammy winner Prince would have turned 67 on Sunday. He died of an accidental fentanyl overdose on April 21, 2016.
