A series of live entertainment events will be hosted in LSU’s Tiger Stadium as part of a new program called Death Valley Live, LSU Athletics announced Thursday in conjunction with the Baton Rouge Foundation, Visit Baton Rouge and the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Partnership.
It hasn’t yet been released what types of events or performers will be coming to Baton Rouge, but the release promises “unforgettable experiences” with live concerts, marquee events and more.
“We are very excited to open our doors to Tiger Stadium for a world-class entertainment experience,” new Athletic Director Verge Ausberry said in a press release. “There is no place like Death Valley and these special events will without question foster community engagement, cultural celebration and economic growth around our city and for our state.”
Another announcement about what marquee events may be coming will be out next week, the release said, with more coming in early 2026.
Future ticketing opportunities and information will be found here.
Tiger Stadium has hosted premier live concerts in the past, most notably country singer Garth Brooks in 2022. The crowd for the “Callin’ Baton Rouge” singer was famously so loud during his performance that it registered as an earthquake on a seismograph.
Taylor Swift has also performed twice in the venue, in 2010 and 2015.
