What to expect
Lumos is a 45,000-square-foot entertainment and private event venue located in Valley Ranch‘s Entertainment District. In addition to attractions including laser tag, bowling and ax throwing, the venue features a 6,000-square-foot gaming arcade and the Omni Arena, which offers immersive virtual reality gameplay, per the release.
“We created Lumos to be a place where connection, creativity and fun collide,” Lumos CEO Greg Little said in a statement. “New Caney is the perfect home for this concept—this community is growing fast, and we’re proud to be part of it.”
The venue also features a full-service restaurant and bar, and boasts an outdoor patio with oversized LED screens for watching sports. Private event spaces can be booked for birthday parties, company outings and other celebrations.
“This is next-level entertainment,” Mark Linabury, president and CEO of the Greater East Montgomery County Chamber, said in a statement. “In fact, I don’t think there’s anything like this in the region or beyond.”
The details
Per the release, officials from Lumos, the GEMCC, the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber and The Signorelli Co.—the developer of Valley Ranch—will be in attendance at the Oct. 2 ribbon cutting ceremony.
