Macy Gray will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album, On How Life Is, on a world tour with four stops in New York. Gray will perform in Homer, Manhattan, Bethel, and Buffalo this November.
On How Life Is paved the way for Gray’s remarkable career. Hailing the world with her alluring voice, the triple-platinum record cemented Gray in R&B legacy, earning her a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance in 2000 for her hit song “I Try.”
Gray will perform songs from the album, including “I Try” and “Still,” and other popular songs from her longstanding career.
With over 25 million albums sold worldwide, five Grammy nominations, and two BRIT awards, Gray’s unshakable grip on soul has solidified her presence in the R&B genre. Gray has since collaborated with artists such as Ariana Grande, Bobby Brown, and Galactic while also evolving as a musician, most recently in her 2023 album The Reset with her band The California Jet Club.
Tickets for Homer, Manhattan, and Bethel will be announced, while tickets for her Buffalo stop will start from $35. Tickets for her Buffalo stop will be available starting on September 5.
